After 1 Million+ Platinum+ champions played this patch. Here are the best and worst champions, pick rates and ban rates. * /r/leagueoflegends

Contrary to popular belief, Azir's winrate goes **down **with division; http://i.imgur.com/ZfVZACR.png http://i.imgur.com/jM7YiX3.png

as of patch 6.13, Azir was trash-tier (45 out of 47 in rating) winrate midlaner. Over here most people are gonna jump-up about how this is about inexperienced players and bad players taking Azir out and speaks nothing on his mains/experienced hands & LC$ big play$, but we're gonna come back to that later.

Azir's mains have a staggering 50.49% average winrate with him!!!

let's do some comparision here;

Malzahar : proudly holds number 1 in winrates out of all midlaners, a whooping 56.61% base winrate, going up to 63% winrate with 50-100 games played.

Anivia : 53% base wr + 56% winrate with peopel with 125+ games (mains)

Velkoz : 52% winrate, 56% with mains, some of the highest and most insane damage dealt across all midlaners (3rd on the list, Azir respectively holding the 16th place, OP, OP).

Syndra : 58% Winrate with people with more than 125 games (mains).

Mastering a champion should be rewarding for taking the time to master and practice them and know all their tricks and what-not, _**especially **_if the champion has a steep learning curve and a high skill ceiling (in Azir's case it's a high ceiling **and **floor), for all above champions we see that mains are rewarded with higher win-rate, Azir is currently the most under-rewarding champion in the list, with mains posing a weak 50% winrate with him, he's basically a worse version of lee sin, extremely difficult for nothing & unrewarding and has been for a few months.

these are all statistics from last patch.

It's been 2 days since 6.14 went live, let's see how Azir is holding up after his 456464th round of PBE dumpstering;

43% winrate, rip.

for anyone unaware of what has been nerfed with Azir; lower soldier base-damage scaling (to reach soldier damage you did at lvl2 previously you need to hit level 6, it gets worse, peaking at level 11, and than slowly scales back to the same original soldier damage at level 18). And soldier vision reduced to their melee range. So a nerf to his damage + utility & ability to scout with soldiers.

Inb4 Azir lcs pick/ban; there's alot of champions that are pick/ban in LCS, and really, if we look at the presence percentages of champions in the LCS, there are atleast 10 champions that see more pro-play in the LCS than Azir, does the recent Karma & Rek'sai spam justify nerfs? ask yourself, does the productiveness of 5 pros sitting next to eachother in comms doing stuff with a particular champion affect their balancing? it's all a product of a meta, because believe it or not, even the pros have a meta. Viktor, Vladimir, Swain, Anivia are currently very common picks in the midlane but pre-MSI/1 month ago they barely saw any play, same to be said with Rek'sai & Karma, Graves, Gnar, Fiora, etc. They were all either picked/banned and disappeared or were never there and suddenly jumped into the LCS.

Azir? his presence % in the spring splits of all regions was 30% and 40% at its highest. Source.

So far, I have'n read a single legit or sensible Azir nerf argument, it's typically very repetitive, starting with "Azir has a dash and an overloaded kit and self peel and insane damage" followed by the typical "he's pick/ban in LCS" and disentegrates into QQ responses.

If winrate and numbers are not enough, I do not know what is enough tbh, do the boards simply wanna replace zed with someone else to QQ about.

Leblanc Akali Caitlyn Malzahar Rengar Vladimir Irelia ???

Nah, better nerf Azir.

isnt azir 100% pick or ban in professional play at the moment?

How dare you imply Azir isn't the most absurdly ridiculous fr33lo piece of shit ever?

Careful, the idiotic Azir crying QQers already started to spam downvote you.

Well, I do want to point out that Azir's early game damage was extremely oppressive because it stacked with Thunderlord's, which means level 2 your taking out 1/4th if not more of your enemy hp every time you choose to poke them. Unsure of what Azir's actual level 2 burst is, but id assume it can easily rival Zilean's who I last heard (although it has been a while since I actually checked) had the strongest. Zed's shuriken's are easy enough to dodge to avoid a massive burst, but Azir has a very reliable, low cost (compared to multiple other mana champions in mid) poke exchange which makes it that much more annoying to go against him early levels. The vision that it gives is still, i would assume, a bit more than a Shaco box or Teemo shroom.... but less than a ward, but it can also be repositioned unlike a box or shroom or ward.

I figure that is a decent arguement about the Soldier damage and vision nerfs. Wether I agree with if they should have or not is irrelevant, seeing as I get irritated with people spamming surrender at minute 5-10 (or so they would hope) and so the team that could have done bad early game could turn it around at late game but does not even try. Since Azir was made into a more late game champ, how often does he get to level 18? I would assume the answer to that is "not often". Therefor, same as with every late game champion, their winrate is dropped because people just surrender. I never see a reason to surrender at 20 unless someone is needing to leave. Almost everyone who spams the surrender vote are the ones who fed the enemy team and flame and rage as well. So you can thank the flamers, ragers, feeders, and surrender spammers for Azir's drop in wins.

This Post is actually sooo true! I have a 51% win-rate in Platinum 2 (used to be 60%) of 121 games until got absolutely f***ed by riot. There are far worse things to play against nowadays, yasuo is dumb with his tank build, my other main champion (orianna) is now seeing play so will more than likely get nerfed in the up-coming patches. I can still play laning phase moderately well, but it's much harder on Azir. The last game I feel still is fairly weak, especially vs all the mega tanks such as poppy (who needs a nerf, she's overloaded AF). Let's look at some more, Jhin, still too strong? They definitely shouldn't have nerfed soldier damage after taking away the W usage onto towers. Let's look at some more BS champions (focusing on midlane), Here's a list: Ekko, Kayle, Karma, Vel'Koz and much more! tanks are bs and need to be stumped out, the game isn't that fun anymore.
