I really don't understand how can a champion with literally 0 AP items do more damage than a 300 AP champion and also build tank ? https://i.imgur.com/8kwsPpp.jpg https://imgur.com/a/jhT8R Why can such champion be in the same time: utility (2+ cc), tank, do huge damage with 0 items ? Even our Tristana couldnt face them off, Maokai would instantly dash into her meanwhile she was jumping out and instantly getting 1500 true dmg by pressing 1 button (outplay chogath). I forgot to mention Yasuo was 3/0 against ChoGath, and he could get back in the game. I know this is happening in low elo, but this is very stressful.

cho dont do 1500 true damage

he typically dont do 1000+ true damage.

the scaling on his ult is 300 / 475 / 650 (+ 50% AP) (+ 10% bonus health) so lets say he has no AP

he would have to have be max rank in ult so lvl 16 and have 3500 bonus hp to do 1000 true damage from his ult.

and his base hp at lvl 16 is 1733 so to have 3500 bonus hp he would have to have total of 5233 hp

so for him to do 1000 true damage ... he would have to have 5233 total hp and be max rank in ult.

also if you look at his damage break down on average per game ( this is for plat + by the way)

Average Cho'Gath Game Stats

Physical Damage: 2243 (16.18%) Magic Damage: 7586 (54.72%) True Damage: 4032 (29.09%) Total Damage Dealt: 13863

you see over 50% of his damage is magic damage not true damage

and as far as kat .. you do single target damage most of the time and maokai has lots of aoe damage... and unless you are stupid ahead of maokai as kat you arent going to do enough damage to kill him. he is going to sustain your damage and use his 4 forms of cc to keep you in his grasp and do alot of damage over extended fights

this was my last game on maokai , i lane vs nasus , got 1st blood on him with the help of turret , and 1 vs 1 him multiple of times in lane and all 3 deaths of mine was 1 vs 4 of their team ... cuz their team decided it was more worth to focus all their damage and spells and cds on me
