How do I help my girlfriend become a better player, when I'm trying to get better too?

I got her into League and I have been playing for 2 years, while she has been playing for about a year. I want to get better at the game and she wants to too, and she wants me to help her get better. While we are in a game and I tell her what she is doing wrong, she just thinks I'm pointing out her mistake, and she doesn't see it has helpful, while I'm just trying to tell her what she's doing wrong so she can fix it. Is there a better way to help her get better?

Teaching others can help lead you to your own discoveries, that help yourself to better understand something that you feel you already know.

So go ahead and teach her. The more you teach, the more you will learn things yourself

There are plenty of Youtubers and websites out there for anyone and everyone.

You don't have to play with her to get both of your experience up.

Watch a few pro's or popular players and see what they do.

I recommend:

  1. Anklespankin (youtube/twitch)
  2. Phylol/Phygames (Youtube/twitch)
  3. Brofreco (youtube)
  4. Redmercy (youtube/twitch)

a mix of fun and knowledgeable people. there are other's out there of course, but these are casual friendly to start imo.

Brofresco and Redmercy are very viewer specific.

I would add someone like Gbay99. He is very informative as well as a sense of humor and involves real life scenarios to his situations (older videos but still good) but not viewer specific

Sorry but I would never call brofresco pro, not even average lol. Check out captain monk, he posts quality game commentaries without any bullshit clickbait or exaggerated pink.

brofresco can hardly be called a educational streamer. Like if im not mistaken he is being boosted by his viewers as well. The sheer amount of time he forgets zhonyas is hillarious.

Just saying, I know a lot of girly champion are on that role, but NEVER let her do support ONLY. It makes the learning process of this game so delayed.

Support is a role that one must know various knowledge of the game in all aspects. I know feeding is scary, but a bit of guts is all is needed to get good fast in solo lane.
