How to invite a player from enemy team with adding as friend?

Basically title. I want to invite a player from the previous match into my lobby to play with him as premade. But without adding him/her as a friend. How can I do this?

They don't show up in the team list in the lobby (obviously), and the "Recently Played"-feature from the friends list got VERY silently removed some time ago.

If you click on "add friend" then the "recently played" list is there.

Also, you can invite people without adding them by when you are in a lobby, you click on one of the empty spaces and then type in their name.

I have a low opinion of players who use untypable characters in their name. It seems like a ploy to make them harder to look up or report.
