Trolls/AFKers/Feeders

I had a Brand in my last game who fed a lot of kills - which is fine, in this elo, a lot of people feed a lot of kills. What got me was the fact that we kept asking him to stop going in as though he were the tank. He just kept responding with "this is how I play, adapt to my playstyle or it's gg." Okay, so we would follow up every time he went in, but there were times we couldn't do anything to help him or stop him from feeding. (I was a little set off by him when he banned Janna, Alistar, and Soraka - but I try to dodge games as little as possible because you know "mah lpz")

So after game, we all reported him and moved on. I decided to take a look at his match history, and it seems as though he likes to troll ranked games A LOT. Games where he plays AP Sion and feeds 10+ kills, AD Blitzcrank jungle, Cass with three Infinity Edges, AP Zed, etc. He feeds at least 10 kills almost every game.

My point is, why doesn't Riot do anything about these people? I guarantee he has been reported many times, yet he is still rolling around in ~Silver 3 elo untouched by bans. Why is there no "special queue" for people who get reported a lot? I don't understand why there is seemingly no action being taken against people like this. It makes ranked, especially Silver, a very dreadful place to be.

TL;DR: Feeders/AFKers/Trolls should really all be paired together in the ranked matchmaking system.

I like this solution more than most. not just a witch hunt BAN THE LOT OF THEM! but just a Queue change so that they play with each other when they get reported enough. +1 OP.

I believe it's about time for report & punishment system update.

I agree with you man. Riot is handing out a lot of chat restrictions but what about trolls and feeders?

Yeah, the report and punishment system needs an overhaul. I think it's currently being worked on actually. Or at least, I hope so, with the Tribunal being down so long and whatnot.

As for these feeders, Riot has said that they don't want a "prisoner island" solution, where they queue toxic players together. I forget exactly why they said that, but it will never happen. But I imagine guys like this Brand will get banned for their actions. They'll be banned much too late, but they will be. And they'll be qq'ing when they do. (Or they'll be like "Rito gg you banned my smurf lolololol." While I'm here like "You put all that effort into a smurf for ranked troll...")

On a side note, I must say you handled him quite well. You stuck to his playstyle, instead of just being rude to him. You attempted to make it work to the best of your ability. Much better than what we usually see when someone won't cooperate.

Trolling almost never happens. Just ask Riot. And when it does, Whatever it is, It always evens itself out. Just ask Riot. There is nothing to be alarmed about. Return to your cubicle. Trolls are only 1% of the community. Just ask Riot. They would not lie or misrepresent the number of trolls and toxic players by defining what is troll or toxic into such a narrow definition that it skews down. The system works. Relax and it will all be fine, citizen.

If you need further assistance with reeducation on this subject don't hesitate to... Just ask Riot.

It honestly is a huge problem, especially when playing in lower elo. Sure people say that you should be able to carry yourself out no matter what, but it's really terrible to get these types of games. Other mobas have ways to compensate for this why not league?
