duo queue

Hello, I am gold player who has been grinding for plat for a while. I genuinely realize that a lot of times when i cant climb its my fault, however, I also enjoy duoing with friends to have fun. However, i have found that it is literally impossible to win consistently in duo queue. It really feels like there is some time of handicap present. As someone who appreciates duo queue its really frustrating. Does anyone know why it is like that? Or has anyone had a different experience? Meanwhile, im gonna see how much my winrate alters by strictly solo queueing.
