Aurelion Sol NEEDED mini-rework at his passive.

Hello, i want to main Aurelion Sol and i would if he werent counter by every melee champ. especially with the upcoming Assasins things

Im pretty sure Almost EVERY Melee champ has a gasp closer or an slowdown.

when an enemy is inside your orbit u just can ult 1 to "save" yourself.

but there are champs like.... Akali, Diana or Yasuo that has a gaspcloser with a really low CD. or champs with a lot of movility. like Udyr, or Leblanc,Ahri and Fizz...

My problem is his passive. that can be stopped with crowd control. or Silence. (like ok u told his stars to shut up) im okay that he can be stopped with stuns thats fine ! but not his passive. i mean ok stop his W but woah the passive too ?

u guys know his passive is stupid. just made to fill the empty space....

"oh but it execute minions" yeah. and ? u cant use it to farm cuz u need to get close and get free damage -_-

So here's my Idea....

His actual "passive" can be moved to his W u can delete his execute minions thing thats ok for me.

His New Passive can be something like this... to make it fair for Sol

Passive, Gravitational Field : When An Enemy Champion enters the orbit of the stars , Aurelion gets a shield and slows within the area of orbit it can be a slow like 20% maybe or less something that help him to scape. or if u dont like that it can be something like... he gains movement speed instead.

i think is fair considering there are lots of champs with stuns and gaspclosers. and some of them like irelia or akali still have adventage considering they have really good burst.

what do u guys think ?

There's nothing wrong with Aurelion the way he is now. Players who master him have incredibly high winrates, more so than any other champ in the game. Yes he has counters, but all Aurelion needs is good positioning to absolutely destroy. Here's a tip for when Akalis and Dianas get on top of you. Ult and then throw out a Q immediately. The Ult will push them back and the Q will pop right in their face. Proceed to run away or even kill them with the W if they're low enough.

is not to make him stronger is just cuz he dies really fast.

hes not my main <.< And Brand Actually can stun very ez. and has a really strong amount of damage

I think theres no problem to do that cuz they technically reworked Kindreds W too. Removed Healing,New Passive Jg System And slow Jg Monsters

Honestly I think A.sol is really strong with the passive now, what you suggest is a passive that would make him stronger against his counters. The creates less counter play to him, all characters need counter play for healthy game design.

u think being countered by every melee is healthy ? the passive im suggesting is to give him a lil bit more survivality cuz yeah. hes a tanky mage. but he has not much armor or magic resist not even ap items excepting ZOnyha for armor and a lot of supp items for magic resist.

there are other tanky mages like Cassiopeia or Anivia that still can escape.

Cass can Stun and ground enemies. a normal cass has Rylais so she slowdown too...

Anivia Slow,Stun has a wall and a Passive thats really broken

But so does A.sol? He has a stun, granted it can't be re-casted quickly, but it should be able to hit his opponent. Rylai's is a must have on him, and when his ult is up champs like yas or diana don't stand a chance, because it hits hard and slows them and puts them in the outer ring.

Unless you play against a Cho'Gath with full stacks, Iron Elixie, Lulu's ultimate the ascention buff and the passive of Sterak's you will never, never hit your stun if they are in melee range. And i'm personally a player of Asol, that has died millions of times because the stun is stupid. Anivia can use her q in melee range, and has her ult and a wall. Cass can ground, slow, buff her movement speed and stun for 2 seconds. Asol is only someone overpowered in the lore, not something more.

If Sol's passive is the only thing preventing you from doing well, then practice with it.

He is a healthy champ with some counterplay that is very clear. His laning phase is usually quite dominating if you're skilled. However, in teamfights, you're a monster if you're good with him. To get him, you have to dive the enemy team, which is suicide, but you can't let him live due to his damage. His passive makes the entirety of his kit and as a whole, Sol is quite balanced.
