Soraka Nerfing gone too far

So i saw the recent nerf coming to sorakas heal, which is now a 10 second cooldown instead of a 4 second cooldown, i honestly think this is way too harsh. As a soraka main this will greatly reduce my ability to play well with her as her heal is the main part of her kit, am i just supposed to stand there while my team mate is dying and tell them to wait longer for my heal to come up? I agree she needs a nerf as she is pretty strong at the moment but come on riot, 10 seconds?? What were you thinking.... Every second makes a difference.... Id even be happy if it was an 8 second cd, but 10? just wow

Soraka can never be nerfed enough.

The very idea of a support who's design is purely to negate all efforts of the enemy team via passive and uninteractive gameplay, is toxic.

Who is based heavily around interaction and in fact can only be useful if they put themselves in danger by going in.

I fail to see the point of your statement.

From a game-play balance perspective, Soraka is toxic. Riot has even admitted on several occasions that she was a design mistake.

She is one of the most hated champs on the forums. didn't see the 1000 threads popping up whining about the buff?

And yet... that all means nothing in the face of actual balance.

No one who actually understands the way this game works cares about bias.

Also, the people complaining about the Riven buffs literally had no idea how the champ operates, as proven by the patch data showing that all the people who flocked to play her thinking she's was going to be "op" only dragged down her winrate on the patch her buffs went live.

Soraka main here.

Honestly, this nerf only hurts her early game.

Be honest with me, dude, W is always maxed first. You won't feel the difference once you hit level 5. This change gives early game supports and marksman a chance to do their job.

Late-game (hell, even mid-game) isn't going to be any different. Your W will be maxed by the time you have the gold for your trinity items: item 3504 item 3190 item 3069.

Suck it up. Soraka had her time to shine, and this nerf is negligible if you're capable of playing Soraka as something other than a health battery.
