Swain or Fiora?

I have saved up 4800 IP for a champion but i cant decide between these two. Swain, Fiora Both seem like really fun and strong champions.

Who is the better champion overall and which would be able to help my team more?

Fiora is more of a 1v1 and splitpushing champion

Swain is more of a teamfighting champion

Whatever you feel suits your playstyle more is who you should buy

Play Fiora and you're a toxic piece of shit.

Play Swain as a way to punish %%%got hyper-mobile assassins who blow you up in one spell rotation and not merely as an overpowered drain-tank who you're more than likely to barely understand and fully comprehend the actual purpose behind his kit and not just scream "omg guys, so op, hurr durr better post it on youtube so all the bitches can play it too", then you're a hero to all.

Yorick is a cheap bastard and I always look down on cheap bastard champions.

Atleast he is completely useless late game xD Well, except his ult. (I put Yorick here as a joke, not planning on buying him)

That depends. How much do you hate the world? How sadistic are you? Do you want your opponent to not have fun? If you rate highly on one of these, play Swain.

Bro, that's what you say to someone who plays Nunu Top.

Oh I completely agree. There are several things that are like that. Nunu top is definitely one of those.

Is he really that frustrating to play against?

Well it's normally me playing him, but I'm told he is one of the shitest to lane against, especially after the rework. This is top lane btw, I have no idea how he fares mid. I reckon the main reason he is frustrating is because most top laners are melee and Swain counters melee pretty well.

Oh yeah, i remember when i went Rammus top against a Swain. I could never get near him and when i finally got some MR, it was too late xD

Swain is a much easier champion to play than Fiora. He is strong and requires low mechanical skill. Overall he's a better champion than Fiora but if you are ready to dedicate a lot of games to Fiora and you really like her kit get her.

I know Swain can be frustrating to play against now but Riot's said they are looking to rework him next year. There's been no word on Fiora though, so if you are willing to put in the time to learn her (and don't mind that 'Vital' mini-game) then she's a damn strong duelist, a potent split-pusher, and a decent teamfighter (provided your Jungler agreed to play a Tank and they actually tank well)

Fiora is incredibly hard and takes tons of knowledge and practice and experience to do well with her, and even then, she's still outclassed by many other champions at the moment. Swain is alright despite his multiple nerfs, but he's not the freelo he used to be. I'd say Swain?

But neither of them are really teamfighters I think. Fiora can ult a target, but if she goes in to actually try and do anything, the rest of the enemy team would just CC and kill her. I don't really know Swain's kit, but I don't think he was a teamfighter from memory. I might be completely wrong though.
