QoL Feature - In Game chat windows shouldn't automatically close after nexus getting destroyed

Hello,

I would like to make a request for in-game chat feature. After playing a game on SR, when a nexus is destroyed, whatever you are typing in chat just goes away and the in game chat windows closes(you have to re-enter and retype again) I never understood why and if it's possible, it would be nice if the window stayed opened.

This would happily means more GG. Joke aside, anyone else supporting this idea ?

I think this is some technical issue where the gain wouldnt outweigh the effort/possible issues.

I do support it, it's quite annoying in fact, I just assume there's a technical reason for it that's not super easy to fix.

Sure. Its not a big deal, but if its easy to fix, I'd like it. I've had my "/all gg" cut off a lot. :c

I found shift-enter is faster.

I'm a dumb nerd and I keep hitting Caps+Enter instead. So I end up screaming GG at my team.

I think it'd be better for them to continue the mute on a player.

Like entering the post game lobby when you had muted a player in game will also be muted from your chat in the post game lobby. It's annoying to come home (the client) to "top kek top kek top kek git gud" after you had JUST muted that toxic scum in game.

Quality of Life, which refers to game improvements that would affect game balance either very little or not at all while simultaneously making the game better to play (smoother AA animation for example).

Yeah, I've always been annoyed about this occurrence. However it's not a game breaking bug so chances of it getting fixed are about 0.01% likely.

Or put back the send all button, that usually was a pretty good way to say GG fast.

You can shift-enter to make the text automatically go into /all chat.

I know I just found I remembered to send it to everyone when I click the send all button because sometimes I forget to press shift.

I heard in a different thread that the reason they don't is because the in game chat and the client chat use different servers. Huge fix for a small inconvenience.

Chat used to go on past nexus, but it was shortened on purpose. Keep it that way Riot. We don't need more GG EZ spam.

As odd as this may seem. I like that it cuts off, since I personally feel the post-game chat will there for that reason... That, or being a jerk at the last second of the Nexus exploding, so nobody on the enemy team can respond.
