Before i go into a ranked match i always check my opponents ranks. Pre-Season i did my placements for ranked flex and i got Bronze 2 for beating platnum players and getting s- and i also won 7/10 games. Now i did my rank solo/duo and i got bronze 4 for beating silvers/golds getting more s- and i won 6/10 games. How is this fair?

Mysticman891 votesRemember, the ranks you're seeing are almost certainly solo/duo ranks unless you were super careful to look up flex ranks, so the 'plats' and even silver/golds are probably still bronze/silver in flex themselves, as they haven't put in the time to climb yet. You're matched (and placed) based on your flex mmrs, so if you play a bunch of people with bronze/silver flex mmr, you'll get placed in bronze/silver.
It's a sometimes unfortunate side effect of new queues where people haven't all climbed/fallen to appropriate mmrs. I did one flex placement match so far, and it featured a bunch of high diamonds in solo/duo, while I ended plat 3 in solo/duo, so it's 'exciting' for everyone.
