or make them as balanced as normal matches

I honestly don't get the point behind it. I am platinum 3 now, in promos to platinum 2. I get matched against ~platinum 3 players to test my skill against. So now I proved my skill against them sucesfully, get into my promo matches, and suddenly I get thrown into uncarryable matches under the excuse of "if you want to climb you should be able to carry this". What the fuck, I just managed to get 100lp in platinum 3 and now I get matches where a high diamond player would struggle to carry them. I just don't get the idea behind making promo matches infinitely more difficult than normal ones.

can anyone explain the sense behind it? maybe I just fucking missed something well who definitely DIDN'T miss something was my 0/8/0 zyra support who got hit by every blitz hook

Theres nothing special with promo matches compared to regular ones, it's just negativity bias tends to make the losses there stick out more.

I thought we were already over this, you could get away by saying this back when the system was new but by new everyone knows promos are fucked, I'm pretty sure riot even admitted it here and there that promos are more difficult with some lame excuse to it.

i swear to god id rather play 4 games to get into the next elo than 2 series games. just the fact that im in series gives me cancer.

every little thing that my team does stupidly i blame on promos luck. i dont understand why we have to win 2 games to get into the next division. it makes no sense as to why we were climbing from 0-100 lp to begin with. it should be 1 game or something more consistent.

at a certain point, like platinum 3, you simply aren't going to roflstomp lane anymore like in silver elo. especially not as an adc main which sucks.

matter of fact is that you can't tell which one it is, ever. Though, considering we're in platinum elo, which one is more likely: that the enemy was all challenger smurfs that one match, or my team simply sucked?

see the human mind seems to have a tendency to highlight / point out the negative things that happen to us instead of the good things... so while it seems we always have bad teammates and fed , afk etc the likely hood that happens more then getting teammates that are good and try and do what there are suppose to do is likely a 50/50 chance. and to climb in rank you need to have more then a 53% win rate? so 50% of the time we get teammates who help us and 50% of the time we get teammates that hurt us? its in that 50% of the time we get those teammates that hurt us that one would have to steal and scratch out some wins to put us over that 53% win rate to climb... where it seems those games are few and in far between and it seems like the games were we have the bad result happen more often. but you as a rank player have what? win rate of 54% ish? maybe higher? so that being said with enough games if you keep the win rate you will climb. and when you cant climb no more and your win rate falls that is where you reached the peak of your rank.

easy to say when you're unranked buddy. Go to platinum elo, spend a week there and then you can come back to me with your overwhelming positivity, let's see what will be left of it.

funny that you say it, because in my last promo match there were actually two gold elo people in both teams. Those were also the two who fed most, in both teams. One would ofcourse wonder how a gold would even end up in platinum 3 elo, and ofcourse the answer is Dynamic Que.

See this is what I mean, why does this weird shit only ever happen in promos? I haven't seen a gold player since I've left platinum v and the moment I hit my promos something off happens every fucking time.

Matter of fact is, you are unranked and you haven't seen what this elo is like. Like I said earlier, it feels insulting to talk over it as if you know more about it than the people who are actually there to experience it.
