Fix the fucking game

20 game win streak with 65% win rate. Got 14 LP per win, lost 22 per game. Got demoted as soon as I hit 0 LP. 12 game losing streak, 25 running it down players, 18 afks. 0 bans. Got called a %%%%%%ed monkey, useless fuck. 0 chat bans. I respond to a toxic inter and say "ur hardstuck". Got chat banned. Nice system. And you wonder why players like Apocalypse, RAT IRL, Tyler1 exist. This game is a mental fuck hoursery. Literally no rewards for being a good player all you get from this fucking game is hair loss and depression. And you wonder why its going downhill so much.

Sorry you had such bad games but no way you got chat banned for just saying "ur hardstuck."

One of the most toxic players ever, Tyler1. Gets banned countless times with even an ID ban. Now he is one of Riot's premier stars. Showcased in live events. What example does that set?

It shows that if you reform and stop inting/flaming every waking moment, you can actually be perceived as a good player.

Old Tyler was the epitome of toxicity and now that he changed his ways, obviously Riot will acknowledge that especially as one of the/the most popular streamer.

That's good. A reward would be to un-ban his accounts. But Riot could maybe find their "stars" from players who haven't been banned and represent everything good about the community, instead of an example of the worst. You can parole a murderer but that doesn't mean you have a parade for him after.

I love how everyone compares being a jerk in a video game to taking the life of another human being.

His 'reward' in reality was just being allowed to play the game again. There are tons of stars considering we have the LCS, EULCS, LCK, etc. and tons of content creators endorsed or acknowledged by Riot, don't act like Tyler is taking the spot of someone else. He also earned his spot because he went from one of the worst to one of the most positive. That's why he got noticed, because he is a good person on League now.

I don't understand what you want. He was an asshole, he got un-ID-banned, and now he can play the game again. Do you want him to just be unnoticed by Riot regardless of his personality change? Should he not get involved with Riot even though he's got a massive following that he worked hard to earn? I don't even care about Tyler but I respect his grind and you need to acknowledge the fact that he got where he is by hard work and redemption.

He killed the fun of the game for a lot of people. So murderer in that way. It was death for those who had to play with him.

I could care less about him. But I'm just thinking of the new players who see him be rewarded. There are a lot of other great youtubers. Why prop this guy up as the face of the community?

One negative experience doesn't kill the game for people. Tons of players are toxic, barely any reform to the point Tyler has. So, again, should he just never be rewarded or acknowledged for what he's done?

Nobody with a brain looks at Tyler as an example and says "Hey, if I'm toxic, then I reform, Riot will like me and invite me to events." That is such a backwards way of thinking, it's actually shocking to even think about someone doing that.

People will focus on his reformation and how he's not a toxic piece of garbage now and make that their goal. I also don't know why you think Tyler1 is the 'face of the community' considering all the pro players that are constantly featured in documentaries, videos, ESports games, and every other piece of media. Tyler1 is not the face of the community, he's maybe top 10 but that's just due to sheer popularity. Ultimately it's subjective but there is no one face of the community.

One negative experience can chase away the new players. And Tyler1 was every game negative. Yes, he should be rewarded for his reform. Remove his bans. But he shouldn't be celebrated. Imaqtpie and him had a prolonged event with the wrestlers. Tyler1 was a guest on the All Star show. If you think there are not people in this community who think they can be toxic and "reform" like Tyler1 and be a star, then you don't know this community. Riot proves you can be toxic and "reform" and be a star, so why wouldn't people think that?

In closing: a reward for reform after toxic behavior should be to un-ban accounts. It should not be stardom.

He rose to stardom for more than reforming, he's entertaining to watch, he's a high elo player, and (now) he's positive. He's got everything that companies look for in a public face.

Let go of the idea that he's idolized just for reforming because that's clearly not it. Are you going to mention Dardoch or Jensen or Mithy? All pro players or high ELO players who were just as bad as T1 back in the day? Interesting how they reformed, they play at higher levels, they're entertaining, and now Riot endorses them... huh.
