Let's talk about Fizz Fizz What do you guys think about the Fizz ult's hitbox. Personnally I think they should make the fish thrown bigger (so that we know the hitbox)

I think its fine as-is, however the clarity DEFINITELY needs improvement.

The biggest issue is in relation to moving targets (where their hitbox was AND is going) and the ult (where it was, is, and where its going). That's what makes the hitbox seem so ridiculous. What the skill is reacting off of is NOT what's displayed or apparent to players.

Anyway, if they decrease the range of the hitbox they need to give Fizz more burst damage with the rest of his kit. Right now Fizz is very dependent on landing his ult unless he is WAY ahead.

3D environments are deceiving especially when at an odd angle. Shadows are closer to hit boxes than champion models and the fish is not on the ground so it appears farther to the right then it actually is due to camera angle. Not saying the hit boxes are perfect but they are closer than your bottom vs top hit box test make it seem.

How about when it reaches the ground, it expands from the original hitbox to the bigger one?

Honestly I don't understand why Fizz is rewarded for missing his ult.

Either he hits it and it sticks, or it should fall to the floor and stay there. He shouldn't get a free "second chance" if someone walks near a missed fish, and most certainly not in such a huge area around the fish.

I hate the fizz ult. When I'm playing against fizz I feel its near impossible to sidestep the ult if he aims it right. The hitbox may be balanced (arguably), but the clarity is utter crap. And I agree with "Nameless Voice", why is fizz rewarded for missing his ult? It's similar to Zoe's sleepy time which drives me bonkers, but atleast Zoe's sleepy time AoE doesn't INSTANTLY proc and jump to you. But I agree, if you miss a skill shot it shouldn't turn into an AoE ability. It should be one or the other. The only abilities in the game that do that (Zoe E and FIzz R), feel so bad. When Zoe uses sleepy time, she's aiming to hit you, if she happens to get the sleep after she missed, it's usually because your champ sidestepped around a minion in some stupid way or it's just a freak mistake.

All that being said, I think a good fix for Fizz would be to make it more like Zoe's sleepy time (despite how I hate the missed skillshot still turns into an AoE mechanic). Maybe with a shorter delay than Zoe's. But the current mechanics on his ult as is, is just not fun to play against and leaves me angered. Going "IT FUCKING MISSED ME!!!! HOW CAN I POSSIBLY DODGE THAT? WHY HASN'T THIS BEEN CHANGED! ARE THEY HAPPY WITH THIS HITBOX?! WHAT THE LITERAL FUCK" every time.

And I get it, Fizz has been struggling a lot. But not fixing a certain BAD mechanic because a champion is weak isn't a good method to go by. Give him some type of quality of life buff, maybe a faster projectile speed to compensate, but his feels absolutely awful to lane against.

The really fucked up on the Fizz rework. The ult and w was a cool idea but it just makes fizz linear with his combo, making him to boring to play as and against.

For his new ult tho, they should either add a delay for max range or just shorten the radius of the attachment circle thingy

I'm fine with it being the size it is , if that's how it's designed. but the fact that animation does not represent the reality is the problem . Animation/ indicators should be edited 100%
