Why are people complaining about "Tank Teemo" and why is Teemo subjected for nerfs?

Why is Teemo being hated on? Popular League of Legends influencers such as "Hashinshin" and "Gbay99" are complaining that Teemo is OP when building "Tank Teemo" but the fact is Teemo is not OP.

The reason that some Teemo players like myself go this tanky build on Teemo with items such as Frozen Mallet and Warmogs is because we realize our champion is completely useless when building traditional AP. This is due to the fact that in most situations in the game, Teemo cannot survive skirmishes, duels or teamfights due to the lack of resistances in these situations.

Teemo is a GARBAGE champion and people build items that are non traditional to still play Teemo and still be useful in the game, going AP makes you prone to being 1 shot by any fed champion but with this "Tank Teemo" build, Teemo can withstand the harsh situations of a 10/0 enemy by building HP. EDIT: _Another reason why AP Teemo is not great is because Teemo is played into top lane, the lane of tanks and in top lane the tanks build items such as Spirit Visage and Adaptive Helm which completely negates AP damage (EVEN AT FULL BUILD) _

Teemo is not OP due to the new runes, neither is he because of the non-orthodox build. The problem is that the new runes do not suit other champions in the top lane as well as base resistances being removed.

Ezreal can go from being an ADC to a Jungler but Teemo cannot be left alone? Teemo is not OP, he is not balanced, he is trash compared to other champions. Now I ask again Rioters, why is Teemo subjected to nerfs?

Teemo built full AP deletes a target and, if fed enough, deletes multiple targets before they have the ability to get on him and kill him.

Teemo, even if built full tank, trades evenly with abilities in lane, then wins in CS because he's not only ranged, but can also deny an enemy laner several minions at a time through his Q.

You complain about his magic damage not being effective in top lane, ignoring the real value of his kit in lane, which is to poke down early (before magic resist can be purchased, as no one starts with more than 5 mr now) and deny CS throughout.

If your enemy tank builds MR to "negate AP damage," they are not building AD to "negate AD" dealt by your team, and you can delete the squishies on their team or otherwise actually eliminate the damage dealt by an auto-attack dependent member of the enemy team for 2.5 seconds at a time.

Why don't we want Tank Teemo to be a thing? Because the utility he provides his team through that build with slows and blinds is overbearing and oppressive for the enemy team, even if Teemo has been put behind.

I don't think he is trash, but I also do not believe he is op either. The nerfs are mostly because he is extremely oppressive with summon aery. As such, his kit is being adjusted to bring it in line.

Indeed my friend! I feel like they should buff Teemo's E's DOT damage. A small buff would make the garbage dot feel a little bit better.
