After this beta update, I lost all of my project loot. I hadn't chosen a skin or summoner icon. I was quite disappointed when I went to my "Loot" to see nothing but my mastery tokens. Did Riot give us some type of warning for this, or did I just get screwed again because I was planning ahead for a potential release of more project cores?

There were at least a couple warnings that leftover project loot and worlds loot would be removed on a certain date (around the first week of November if I recall), so you probably just missed seeing it.
You only got 2 orange essence per project loot thing though, so you're not really losing out on much.
pwningalexhill1 votesI had a feeling.. well, I guess it is better that it is my own fault then theirs. I would have unlocked my Project:Fiora skin if I knew, but it is what it is.
Sukishoo1 votesAll of the Loot was set to expire awhile ago. It was in one of the patch notes.
Most PROJECT Crafting materials will expire on November 6th. Augment Caches are the exception, but won’t drop PROJECT Cores after this date. Disenchant your leftover stuff!
