I have lost many games thanks to people trolling in ranked, just because they did not get to play the one and only role they can play.... If we got team builder on ranked, people would enjoy more playing ranked. Less trolling and better teams.
If people get to play the lane and champ they want, then maybe so many people would get reported, and less moms would be fucked by random online people.

Lady Zataku3 votesImagine how many people would troll it simply because it is a form of ranked so the people who join and have intentions of trolling already would only be worse and there would have to be no team captain or only op teams would be made. It could end more bad than good with team comp.

Team builder is a bandaid that warps the game in order to cover up the real problem instead of solving it.

KillSwitch4271 votesThe ranked team builder is different from the current team builder (for normal games). The ranked version, lets you select one of the main 5 roles or support, then searches for a game. Then the game goes through draft phase normally (including picks and bans), the only difference, is that each player receives the assigned role that they queued for (unless someone attempts to troll).
The only real drawback to this system is the possible increase in queue times due to this system.

Baculus2 votesNo, it's simple. Have people que for a role(or more than one role) instead of a champion, perhaps with a selection of champions they could pick for that role. Decide pre-que who will go in pick order, then work from there. Bans and pick order would still exist the same.

KillSwitch4271 votesThink of Ranked Teambuilder = Role selection prior to a normal draft game. It will work the same as draft, except everyone receives the role they queued for.
