How Long does it take for MMR to readjust?

Just a simple question. Yes i know my MMR isnt readjusting because no matter how well i do i get 13 LP and no matter how good i am in a losing team i lose 23 LP.

If you are going to reply "then it means you just got carried" then check my ranked history... Alwasy no1 or no2 in a team, whether winning or losing.

EDIT: thanks all for responding. It seems that i need to get some winning streaks going.

Tl:dr Only the result of your games affects your mmr, not how you do in them. If you lose a lot of games, you get less lp. If you win a lot of games, you get more lp.

The elo/mmr system is pretty screwed up right now, people getting placed in bronze 5 after 8/10 wins and whatnot and not earning LP for wins. Riot Plz Fix.

eh, this account ended last season like bronze 4. I went 9-1 I think and got placed in b5. Im in a b1 series now though with a 60% win rate. It's pretty easy. The only thing I'm kind of bothered by is that my LP gains are so. I gain 20-22 and lose 15-18 which makes no sense for someone with a 60% win rate. It just sucks i'm not climbing faster.

If you want to readjust your mmr (make it higher so you gain more LP) you have to win numerous games in a row. (5-10). IF you are constantly losing 1 winning 1, your mmr will never increase.

Depends on a lot of variables, assuming you are solo queue, (not with a friend) and you are at 13LP a win and 23 a loss, you are in the gutter. The only way to alter this is to win a significant amount of more games than you are losing. This is because riot is pairing you up with people of similar MMR, however, if you are losing games that MMR might be of lower rank, so if you lose vs the lower ranked players that have the same MMR as you, the system is going to adjust your MMR/Rank to equal theirs, since you cant beat them.

In your case, being bronze 4, the fastest way to reverse your LP gains, is to queue up with a friend that is Silver 1, since this is the highest rank you can duo with. You must win these games though, if you dont, then your friend's MMR will tank.

TL;DR It depends on solo q vs duo q ranks. and how many wins/loss

Losing more than you gain is indicative of the system believing that you aren't good enough for your rank / division.

For a contrary look, I am Silver 5 at the moment, and gain 20-26 LP for a win, but only lose 13 for a loss. This is indicative of the system believing I should move up (which is weird bc i fucking suck at this game but w/e)

this system is built around high win streaks

The system values winstreaks higher than consistent play. You can win 2 out of 3 games for 30 games straight, but the system will still weigh that unlucky 5 loss streak you had a month ago higher, thus your lp gains/ losses dont change much.
