AFK in ranked games

Just had a game where I went through the 10min to pick and load into the game only to have an afk support. I figured he might come back so I did my best to farm under turret to only get dove by their bot lane and a jungle within 5min of the game. They had the tower down and continued to camp my lane for the next 15min lane, there was no tower to protect me and if I simply afk'd then it would be against summoner code. I want to know why there isn't some kind of way we don't lose LP after having to endure constantly getting dove and unfair advantages for 18min after waiting for 10min to get into a game. Losing LP in a situation we can't control just seems to add insult to injury. If anyone can respond and tell me how to stay a good sportsman and keep being nice to people when the system punishes you for things you can't control.

TLDR; losing LP because of afks is adding insult to injury, there should be a loss forgiven system.
