Poppy rework is a fail
Hello fellow summoners.
Just an honest oppinion after spending a day with a new poppy. Whole rework is fail, what seems to be funny at start turns out to be a nightmare few minutes later. All 4 (5) of her skills are situational.
Let me start from beggining a passive:
- It is only useful during a gang with red buff to get this first engage. Shield is almost impossible to catch mid air thus leaving us with a choice to either go for it and lose target or leave it wherever it drops. Considering that You have to possition for each of her skill shield ends up being a low priority usually. Also Poppy animation is terrible it stops poppy from moving which is the wrorst thing ever...
- Her q - nice skill, but almost impossible to be pulled off without landing a stun. Cast time is long and range very small meaning that usally You will miss it if You try to finish running target.
- Her W only works for dashes meaning that it counters some champs hard, while leaving other unharmed. It should work for any form of repostioning skills (zed w, ezreael e and so on, anything cept flash) to cover wider range of champions.\
- Her E it is same as it used to be, was and is situational.
- Her ulti. What a terrible idea, there is not a single good thing about this ulti cept maybe disengaging someone at the start of team fight. It's dmg is bugged as hell, usually doing no dmg at all. It makes target untargetable so You can't use it as a nice engage move. It is hard to land on a proper target , as it hits minion as well. Usually brings more frustation than anything else.
All in all she was nice concept and got reworked into some shity and very situational thing. Maybe can be great in 5 vs 5 high elo but if so she will end up banned there forever, while in lower elo she won't be picked at all.
Please fix it riot !
rush. Like how
is an ok item for mages because it gives a bit of everything (mana regen, AP, CDR, and a nice grievous wounds bonus which is really helpful vs certain match ups),
or
.
before
and hydra is an iffy buy in the first place).
