Do games recently seem more auto-win or auto-lose?

I recently returned to the game from a 3 year break and noticed that the majority of my games (Silver) are auto-win or auto-lose. I hate auto-wins just as much as i hate auto-lose games because neither are fun. I want games that are more tooth and nail till the end instead of completely blow outs like before I stopped playing. It's not fun when you just completely stomp someone or your team gets stomped. It seems like Silver rank has a HUGE range of skill level, which contributes to these auto-win auto-lose games.

Is this the current state of the game at other ranks?

General consensus is that the game is very snowbally (whoever starts winning first most likely wins) and that it's not likely to improve in the near future.

Personally, I tried getting back into the game after a ~6 month break, but I'm back to not playing again less than 2 months after trying to play again. The current game is "League of Legends" in name only.

I wonder why they made this switch to let snowballing control the game so much. Seems like early game mistakes are now HUGE mistakes.

It doesn't seem like auto win-loss, it IS auto win-loss. Game too snowbally and has no time or room for comebacks.

It was always like that in my experience.

Back when I played in 2014-2015 this wasn't the case for me at all. The games majority of the time seemed balance and you couldn't tell who would win until around the 20-25 min mark. In todays games I can see who will win in the first 5-10 min.

No such thing as an auto win or loss unless you just pick a terrible teamcomp that doesnt work. Even then you can bash skill against the wall and pull off something.
