New Season 7 Zed ultimate

So I've been a zed main for a very long time, but I can't seem to understand his new ultimate. I know that if I kill a champion that has a shuriken above, I get ad, but what do the sizes mean and the frequency of them?

I just want it to be on kill or assist with Death Mark active. Because having people KS you just to lose out on the 30 ad you were about to get from the fed Jhin.

Basically, if Zed kills a target with his ult he gets 5 flat + 10 / 15 / 20 % of their bonus AD. This doesn't stack, but Zed keeps his largest bonus. So that means that if you killed X champion and got 10 AD from them, and then kill Y champion and get 7 AD from them, you will still have the 10 AD.

The shuriken above their head indicates if they will give you AD that's greater than your current stolen amount. If you kill a target, and they get more AD later on, you'll have to kill them again to get the larger bonus.
