Is Mordekaiser too op?

I'm tired of having to constantly ban Mordekaiser. He's a stupidly overpowered champion that has every counter to basically shut down an entire game. There's a few reasons why I want a nerf on him because he's tanky, he'll cripple adcs with his ultimate, his pull is annoying, and he's able to go on any lane to basically ruin their day. It was just recent when a Mordekaiser is on bot and I wasn't even allowed to build at all, leaving the team with absolutely no damage. This also applies to bruiser type champions that go on bot, practically leaving bot's laning phase to be very difficult to farm, push, or get kills.

Stop banning him and start learning how to play against him and who to pick.

The only mage champion that I have been able to spar on equal footing with him is Karma, because she has the means to avoid is dumb passive. Honestly, the only thing broken about his kit is that stupid Aoe that does percentage health damage

He has some synergy with Rylais big deal.

Another issue I have with him is that he relies no resource, aside from cd management, to play him. Moreover, he is rewarded with a shield and self-heal. I dunno, seems a little overloaded

probably due to his base stats too with the large armor and health early game where it becomes a threat to adc's and camp.

Some of the changes he needs is that stupidly huge damage he gets, his ultimate needs to be changed where adc's early on don't get terribly destroyed if a Mord chooses bot.

Just take Kayle. He can’t kill her in lane and she outscales him. Haven’t lost a game with against Morde.

Sure, his ult could have a lower duration that increases per rank. If you are talking about stopping his ult, just pick Siv or Morg for botlane, the shields stop his R.

easy to dodge spells, garen,teemo,darius,urgot,illaoi,kayle,kennen can kill him with relative ease, I do not see how morde is OP now , if the enemy picks morde I usually go for teemo , gg

I feel like you’re more upset with bruisers in general than anything else, and Mordekaiser is who you’ve decided to take it out on because he’s the flavor of the month champ that everybody is spamming.

Doubly so since it seems the Morde made the (correct) play of camping you once he got ahead until you were basically useless.

I look at Morde as basically AP Darius. He’s a bit pokier in lane than Darius because of his q, but he mainly relies on landing his pull so he can q auto you and get his passive. He wants to get his full combo off but has fairly long cooldowns when he misses until he gets cdr. If you can avoid the pull, chances are he won’t try to engage you until you get it back up outside of poking with q.

Also, as others have mentioned, qss exists, and it’s a good idea to pay the tax (ESPECIALLY on priority targets like the adc) and deny Mordekaiser his arguably most gamechanging ability.

He’s really not unbeatable - you don’t see him being spammed in pro play or at super high Elo - but he’ll stomp your head in if you don’t respect him.

I think mainly Morde's ult needs to be nerfed, maybe his passive as well. The rest of his kit seems fine.

I will admit as a Trundle player I'm a bit jealous of how Morde gets everything he needs from just rushing Rylai's, since he has no real resources to manage, while also having decent base damage and cooldowns. He doesn't even have to build defensive items to be durable, must be nice.

If he never lands his grab, he isn't OP. But if he can consistently land his grab, he is pretty busted. His damage is off the charts and he is really fucking hard to kill.
