maybe its just me being stupid but i've been thinking about it for a bit now and isn't thresh ult kind of like a worse version of veiger e they both make a box but veiger's can trap the whole enemy team and covers a larger area while thresh's can hurt one and slow them for 99% for 2 seconds and then the rest don't get hurt and only get slowed for 1 second, and like i said maybe im just being stupid.
I mean, they're two different champions. Veigar only has that one CC skill, while all of Thresh's skills (not including passive) provide some sort of utility.
Well, Veigar's E does no damage, and has to compensate for the fact that that his W is hard to hit. I do think Veigar's E is up there with Malphite's R in terms of consistent CC abilities though. Thresh is simply so strong everywhere else in terms of CC that his ult did need to be tuned down.
It sucks that Sona heal is just a worse version of soraka ult, and shaco q is a worse version of khazix ult.
