New to PBE help!

So I just got an email from riot 3 days ago that i got accepted to be part of PBE so i downloaded the client right away and after the long wait. I opened the client and tried to log in with my account and when I got in, my IP, RP, lvl (30 right away) from my regular account when i logged into the regular league client. I tried going to store and look for that bundle or whatever you usually buy in PBE to have the IP/RP thingy but there was none. Champions and chmp skins are still "regular" price not the 1 ip price yet. I've seen a recent video of a youtuber in pbe and his pbe client looked like the regular league client yet mine is different. Help me i'm new to PBE.

Also: did the invite say "Pbe" or "League client Alpha testing"? They each have different clients, and may be why what you're seeing is different.

oh sorry my bad. I got the two mixed up. Well i did sign up for pbe and I got a message from riot about the alpha client. So maybe it wasn't PBE. Though the client is very laggy. I've been waiting for almost 6 months now to hopefully get into PBE :(

Which client is laggy? The Alpha one (new one)? ~0.7sec lag is what I get on pressing buttons, it used to be like 2-3sec delay and it keeps getting better as they tweak stuff. Is your delay significantly different than that?

On the Pbe topic: I waited I think a year or so for my Pbe invite, and I know they just cleared out a bunch of inactive accounts and they usually invite a wave of new people for pre-season testing, so hopefully you'll get in those waves^^

well since i got into alpha and now that it's out for everyone to try, i still lag for like 3-4 second delay and when i'm in champ select, i never get to lock in or ban a champ because of the lag. But i did look for other ways and a riot employee said that I could still use the legacy client which i'm still using up until now.

Are you absolutely certain you're on the PBE and not the Alpha client?
