Ranked

Ranked... DO NOT PLAY IT. It's EXTREMELY addicting and NOT a happy place to be.

Ok here goes:

1. It's not your team's fault. Yes, your team can throw a game, but they don't through every game. YOU are the only person who has an impact on your rank.

2. If you feel like saying anything to your team, think if what you're saying has any potential to make the game closer to a win for you. If what you're about to say has no positive impact on the situation, don't say it. Scream out loud, have a stress ball if you're that kind of person, but NEVER say anything negative in game.

3. Losing streaks happen to the best of us.

4. Focus on improving yourself, not your teammates. Remember, it will sometimes be your team's fault you lost that particular game, but it's only your own fault for being stuck in the same division for dozens of games. If you're not climbing, or if you're falling in rank, re-analyze what you're doing. Watch replays of your games (www.replay.gg), keep a notebook with things that you did wrong, etc.

5. Have fun :) If you find ranked to be frustrating, take a break from it. There's nothing wrong with playing normals if you enjoy them more!

I do have a warning for you: If you just hit lvl 30, ranked will be a little rough, just because you don't have a lot of game experience. I started ranked when I just hit 30, and I was stuck in Bronze 5 for a very long time. Remember to take it easy, focus only on yourself, and have a good time!

Don't go into ranked until you can average 60+ CS in every lane by the 10 minute mark ( in roles that measure CS like that ) in normals and have atleast 3 champs of each role with mastery level 3 or higher.

Just be nice to your team even if you don't want to, you gotta baby them to make sure they don't rage.afk

If you lose more than two or three in a row, take a break. Clear your mind and try again in a bit. Once you tilt it's quite difficult to untilt.
