Hello fellow summoners,

as main support I am mostly responsible for providing vision for the lanes and objectives like Baron and Drake. Sure, the sightstone is a useful item for that but still I believe there is a need for Control wards around certain areas like Baron and Dragon pit and against certain champions that play peek-a-boo with us like Teemo ,Shaco ,Evelynn , Rengar etc etc. Not only that I noticed that very few players actually buy Control wards but the ability to buy those very useful items shrinks with every minute we are in game. Once you hit the full build, you cant really buy any control wards anymore which is kinda problematic in my opinion. Been in situations I thought about selling stuff just to get Conrol wards to provide this very necessary vision.

So i wondered why we can not have_** a slot that is only for control ward purchases**_, similar to the trinket slot. I cant find any reasons there should'nt be something like that, can u? If yes, I'd like to know. I really hope Riot comes up with a solution for that.

That's why you see organized teams eventually changing over to having 3 blue trinkets on the team. Sure, they don't reveal wards/traps, but at least they're permanent until destroyed. And free. The other two members will often have Oracle by that point, so they provide the ward/trap clearing capability. All that on top of a support with sightstone and maybe even a jungler with Tracker's Knife, and you've got all the vision you need.

I'm a support main and while I personally would love this because it would give me a new item slot, I really hope this isn't implemented. It would be way too good and honestly a lot of supports don't buy a last item and instead leave their inventory open for control wards anyways. Adding a new slot for them would just be broken and unbalanced.
