Much lower fps since 7.22 Patch

Hey guys I wanted to know if anyone else on the NA servers are experiencing much lower fps in this new patch? I normally run the game at 80-100 fps but now mines has dropped a substantial amount which led me to believe that my hardware is fine and that this is one the games end. I now find myself at times playing at 25 -30 fps in any teamfight post 20 minutes which is insanely low for me. At the moment the game feels near unplayable. Im not sure if this has anything to do with any of the new runes implemented this patch but I hope a fix is coming soon because I dont think I will be playing the game until it is. I also ran the HRT and sent in all of my logs along with my ticket.

Okay, small "update", i guess. In case someone at Riot sees this, here's a better description of the problem:

You start the game and your FPS is normal, like it used to be. In my case it's around 60 FPS (because I set the limit to 60 FPS)

You spend a few minutes playing, farming, and everything seems to be okay. You get a kill, you die, you get ganked, everything's good

You get past 10-15 minutes and you get a 5-10 FPS drop. It's okay, everything is playable and it's a normal thing, especially if your computer is not really good

You get past 25 minutes and your FPS starts getting lower and lower. In my case, from 60 FPS it goes to 35-37, and that on lane with absolutely no one around, not even minions. Game struggles to keep the FPS up with nothing around me.

You get to 33-35 minutes - you're lucky if you can see anything in team fights, if you don't have a good pc. Even if you do, everything works slow, the game drops from 35 to 25 FPS for no reason especially in team fights and you just pray your team can carry

You get to 40 minutes - once everyone gathers and the team fight starts, your FPS is underage. Really. I had 16 FPS in my last team fight. I wanted to hit Quinn with my Q. I was Teemo. I missed her until she killed me.

The FPS generally starts being great at the beginning of the game but the more minutes pass, the less FPS you get. I personally had the same problem in the past, especially after getting Elder Dragon/Baron buff (or both).

However, now it's not even because of the buffs. Once the games goes on for too long, it becomes hard to play. If you don't have a good PC, your 60 FPS goes down to 18-25 after 30-35 minutes. And I mean 25 if you don't do anything. 18 FPS if a wild minion appears.

I played a game right before writing this and I asked in the "all" chat if someone else was having this problem:

Enemy Quinn said yes

Enemy Lucian say yes

Enemy Vi said "I play with 60 FPS on gt 8400 then fuck you" - not sure what that is supposed to mean.

I tried to change the settings from Very Low to Very High then to Very Low again, and it didn't work. There's nothing on my computer to slow down the game, my graphics card driver is updated and there's nothing changed on my computer that could affect my FPS.

Something's wrong with the patch that causes some players to get a lot of FPS drops for no reason. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Same here, it's annoying

Yes, it's been happening widespread to many people. No official response from Riot yet. Hoping there will be a fix with the micropatch they're putting together.

Same, I can't run game at 144 fps. Intel i7-4770k 16 GB Ram (2400 mhz) League on SSD Gygabyte GTX 1080

Plus i have other problem : I lag in loading screen, I can't even play youtube music I lag in boderless, game cap at 60 automatically and I'm sure it's even lower than it show because game is "shaking" when I move camera instead of fluid movement.

Prior to these last 2 patches, I was playing League at a consistent 120 FPS regardless of how much was going on at once. Day or night, heaven or hell, I was running smooth.

Then come the last two patches.

My game starts the first 30 seconds or so at 120 FPS, and immediately drops to about 60-90 FPS a minute or two in.

When minions spawn, and with regular intervals thereafter, my FS steadily drops until the highest I can run is 50-55, and approaching 30+ minute games, I am stuck in 40 FPS or worse for the remainder, reagardless of how much or how little is happening.

What is your CPU, maybe its affecting people with a certain one.

I have a feeling most people suffering this are using AMD. Its quite often a bug in a game will hurt how well an AMD product does. Whats your GPU? a 960 or something?

Dunno if this is a NA specific thread, but I too got these distinct FPS drops in this patch.

i7 3770K 32 GB RAM (1600 MHz) Dedicated SSDs for OS and games (Intel 540s and Samsung 840 PRO). EVGA GTX 1080

It sounds like what happened to my friend last year just before his CPU died.

Ok so its not just AMD as someone with an Intel processor has this issue also.
