Janna tornado Directions

I think that when Janna spawns a tornado, the ALLIED team should see a little arrow the points to what way its going. if Riot puts this into the game the ADC can set up a fight based on where the tornado is going. its happened multiple times to me now where ill be fighting as an ADC (probably Kalista) and I see janna spawn a tornado and i think its going for the their team and i go to engage, and the tornado goes for the minions instead, and i end up dead because of it.

RITO PLEASE

I'm iffy on this one because, on the plus side, allies could bait enemies in my tornadoes more easily, and we'd get plays out of that. On the other side, more often than not, for my tornado to land I need my ally to keep doing exactly what he's doing. Getting an indicator could make them switch their movement or positioning and end up with a whiffing tornado.

My 2 cents.

That is a mighty fine point, sir. Not a Janna fan myself, would have never looked at it that way.

Maybe only Janna should see it.

janna knows where she aimed it....it's her ability lol

FluxBound1 votes

No I dont. But even if I did know, it would be cool to know how far it will be going

Definitely deserved since she's been nerfed so hard recently.

At first I thought it was a horrible idea because it'd be way to easy to dodge, but honestly, it's already fairly easy to dodge and having a marker does one very important thing: It herds the enemy team. Even though it's just a slight knockup and a small amount of damage, people will group up and move away from it. Meaning that perfect Malphite ult dream is real.

That's one of the reasons Sion's Q is better than most people say because first of all, it ain't that hard to land, and second of all, it is still doing something while you're channeling it.

He's saying just for the allied team to be able to see it. Hell, I'd be content for just Janna to see it. Sometimes you get your cursor near yourself or are busy flinging it around that you forget exactly where it's going- and this would help. But the enemy team shouldn't get it either way.

Eh. As a Viktor main I fail to see the cursor problem. But I honestly don't think that having the enemies see it would hinder it either, I'd actually prefer it. While hitting them is great, controlling them is just as useful.

Her tornado isn't easy to dodge if you are going for the knock up. I thought she was shit til I watched a champ play her. now I love her. I supp main. She will be one of my strong engagers and peelers.

MacDthree1 votes

he doesn't want the enemy to be able to see it. it'd be an ally team thing. __

idk why I have never read this before... so much logic. this is life changing.

Janna is one of my favorite supports and one of the ones i first picked up this would be a great idea! This would really help!

Nice. Something like the indicator Orianna gets on where her ball is? The little triangle?

I personally would prefer a self-only direction/range indicator for existing tornadoes, but in general I agree that you need to be able to see where you're tornado is going to go. Hell, if it were visible to teammates and enemies both then you could say you're adding counter-play and give it a bit more oomph.

Aeolian Melodies1 votes

Considering that the tornado travels relatively slowly giving enough time to enemies to dodge, I don't think that giving enemies even MORE of a heads up is a good idea.

Sometimes I use the omw ping, but it'd be nice to not potentially annoy all of my teammates.

This has been a suggestion since time immemorial, they just never do it.

Good luck.
