About the Sated Devourer

Okay, so the sated devourer applies on hit effects twice every other attack. This may be a given, but I just want to be sure so here is my question. If you timed Rengar's 5 ferocity stack Q on one of those basic attacks, would it have the full damage steroid double? And also, would a crit hit double as well? If so, you're looking at a 3k+ dmg hit from a single Q basic attack at times. Like I said, it may be an obvious "yes" or "no", but I simply don't know the answer on my own.
