flex rank reset?
got placed in silver 5 made it to promo for s4 easily.....then they did the reset for it i played my 1 game then got put in bronze 4......how in the world does that seem fair or why go from basically s4 to b4 for no reason....

Did you not see the BIG notification on the top of your client? Or on top of the boards page next to your notification?
I swear people are blind. Or just too lazy to look at what it says.
u ppl r so ignorant... Do you really not see the diamonds, masters and challengers that are getting placed in bronze and silver? your placement is fair, and silver 4 to bronze 4 is normal...
Because of the MMR mismatch in Flex Queue, you got reseted to the original starting point(pre placements). But remember this is only Preseason, the rank you accomplish now **WILL BE RESETED AGAIN! ** The rank you get in preseason does only influnece the placement in Season 7 to a SMALL extend! (only your starting point in season 7 is affected by Preseason ranks) Sidenote: 1-2 Tier drops are completely normal in preseason.
I.E.: You were Plat 5 at the end of the season, were placed high Silver after placements, now got placed low Silver. If you now climb to Plat again, you will then only be placed in low Gold at the start of Season 7!
So dont worry to much about the current placement!
