Deep Terror Nami1 votesAs with all roles, it's not about your KDA, it's about your overall contributions. This may include things like damage/healing, objectives taken, vision control and CS. This isn't Team Deathmatch after all.
1wolfpack1 votesas weird as it may sound, you will never get an S as support without getting a few kills urself. so if you had 3/0/18 that would be a S for sure
50000000000000001 votesSome Rioter confirmed a while ago that a kill and an assist count the same for supports. Some kills would definitely allow you to be more impactful, though. I often get S rank on Janna without kills.

Its all a bout time in game as support and assists. You wont get a S if it is past 35 mins most times as supp.
