Yasuo Needs a Nerf A.S.A.P

Yasuo Yasuo, the beloved top/mid laner known for his high skill cap and amazing opportunity for outplay has been buffed incredibly in the last patch (5.22). In his passive, Yasuo's critical strike chance is doubled, but his critical strikes deal 90% damage, reduced to 75% damage on Steel Tempest. Upon reading this, all seems normal, but upon building critical strike chance weapons such as item 3087 Statikk Shiv and item 3031 Infinity Edge, you're critical strike chance is increase to 100% (Infinity Edge = +20% crit chance / Statikk Shiv = +30% crit chance). If this isn't enough to convince a nerf, there is something that is even more broken. "Warlord's Bloodlust," the Ferocity Mastery grants you the following: -Heals for 15% of damage dealt -+20 attack speed for 4 seconds (4 second cooldown) This means that Yasuo does not need to have built a item 3072 Bloodthirster in order to have lifesteal, it is built automatically into his mastery. This means that by roughly level 10, with adequate-at-best farm, you can still be a wrecking force. I recently played a game with a Yasuo, that I went 3-0-0 against as TwistedFate Twisted Fate, but upon him acquiring Statikk Shiv, not only melted me in a short burst, but got a Triple Kill all based on lifesteal. You can imagine what he did to us after having Shiv, IE and Bloodthirster. Riot, please for the love of God nerf both the mastery and Yasuo's passive. They are both dumb and unfair. Discuss your thoughts if you would like.

Yasuo is fine. What the problem is is the interaction with Warlord's Bloodlust, which is getting hotfixed to only work against champions.

AGAIN. Why does everyone think that nerfing the mastery so it only procs on champions, is going to fix the problem? The keynote mastery is BROKEN. It needs to be gutted or the numbers need to be drastically changed.

Yasuo definitely needs a nerf. The only part where he can one hit an enemy player at level 5. Seriously . . . the players that think Yasuo is perfectly fine and not broken are the ones that are enjoying him. Yasuo is in a very bad place. I do not like Yasuo to begin with . . . and I typically don't even like Yasuo players because they are usually toxic players. Yasuo needs a nerf to his crit damage and he should not benefit from the keynote mastery as good as he is now. His numbers need to be tweaked a lot.

How is it not going to fix the problem? Marksmen using it aren't a problem, and lifesteal in general isn't a problem. What was a problem is that champions like Yasuo and Tryndamere were able to just heal back damage quickly during the time you are supposed to be able to beat them (laning and early). That's being changed so that if they want to heal back that damage, they need to get in your face (in other words, hit them back)

And no, I don't play Yasuo. In fact, my main mid laner is Xerath, who I can easily beat Yasuo (provided he doesn't greatly outskill me) with.

They soon will be changing it to only heal when the crit is dealt to enemy champions. I'm not sure if it does already, but if not, Yasuo's Q should be made to only heal for 33% of the crit damage dealt since it is an AoE.

The problem with nerfing Warlord's Bloodlust "Because Yasuo is strong with it!", completely ignores how it affects other champions. If there is going to be a nerf, my guess is, lowering his Critical Damage would be the effective option.

Additionally, I kinda look at Yasuo, as a Physical Katarina. If team doesn't counter play him well, then well, enjoy your respawn timers. And that's where I think a significant portion of his recent power lies (seriously folks, if you got 4-5 squishier champions on your team and severely lacking in hard CC and engage tools, don't be surprised if a Yasuo suddenly tears apart your entire team in the blink in an eye). Indeed, Yasuo's own Ult can work against him, by letting everyone not caught by it, or other CC, easily shred him apart while he performs his Ultimate.

The healing I think can also be partly countered, by building Grievous Wound inflicting items.

for one Yasuo is a hard counter to TwistedFate ... so you losing trades is going to happen if you and opponent are equal in skill level.

So with that if you get to counter-pick the Yasuo go with Fizz Akali or my personal favorite Malzahar .
