So explain to me how this is fair. My game play has greatly improved since last season. I did my placement matches and got 9 wins and 1 loss, also I went positive in all of these matches and got an A or higher in all of them. So why is it fair to put me in Bronze 5???????? This is ridiculous, i will not start in B5 with a performance like that.

Rewt1 votesI do think they need to improve the placement system for new players. Many games like CS GO make your first placement game mid silver (basically bronze 3-4) and then if you win it bumps you up and then it repeats. losing bumps you down. In league unless you literally stomp every game you are pretty much guaranteed to be bronze. Its actually the reason i dont play ranked lol. I won 7/10 games in season 3 and got placed Bronze 4. basically rage quit ranked after that XD.
Odd Gnome1 votesYou were Bronze 4 last season. You're always going to get placed lower than your last season ranking no matter how well you do in your placement matches. Your placement matches basically only effects your MMR. Since your MMR is currently 987 you will gain LP pretty quickly and you have a chance to skip Bronze tiers if your play continues to show your skill.
