Veigar E Suggestion
I know a lot of posts have been made to complain about the new Veigar, and I agree that these nerfs make Veigar Irrelevant in a good 80% of midlane matchups. I do agree that the old box needed balancing, but a .75 second delay is not a good way to go about it. So here are a couple of my suggestions:
Stun Trap: This is the idea I think would be the best. You would be able to cast a skillshot onto the ground and leave it there, similar to how Lux's E works. Range would be cast range (not stun range) of his current E. There would be a forced wait of maybe around one second before detonation. Upon detonation, the ball would expand and turn into his current E(without the .75 delay because it is compensated by the 1 second wait time.) This way, enemies would have the option of deciding to stay on top of the Trap so they would not be caught by the walls of the E, or using their one second to try to re-position themselves outside the radius. This would allow for more predictive play from the veigar as well as the enemy. Would you place your W down on top of the champion in the hopes of them choosing to stay in the middle to avoid the stun, or wait for them to try to run into a wall before laying down the W. If the Veigar makes the wrong choice, he misses out on the W damage. If he/she is playing too aggressively, they can be punished before they are able to activate the E. If the Veigar does manage to choose the right approach, he is rewarded for correctly predicting the opponent.
Wall: This is the most basic of my suggestions. Something like Anivia wall, except it stuns. Range can be around the middle of the casting edge of his current E and the far end of his E from max range. This doesn't change the old veigar felt, stun into 1 shot, but effectively removes his ability to keep people boxed in and doing nothing for a couple seconds.
Parallel Walls: Perpendicular to the way Anivia's wall currently is placed. This could be effective in routing people to go forward or backwards, but still does not keep them stuck inside.
