My experience playing against ZOE (Casual/Observational)

This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to comment on a champion's balance. It's important to note, my perspective is from a general silver to gold standing. But I haven't played ranked in years and I now play normals to enjoy the game casually.

With that said, here are my observations playing with and against ZOE as a midlaner.

-In lane she can constantly spam all of her abilities with little worry about resource management. In short, the chances of her landing the skill shots to poke you out of lane is more likely then her running out of mana. This is because she's not really punished for missing. If we compare this to other mid lane assassins like Ahri for example, if you miss an E / Q combo trying to harass, two or three times you're out of mana completely.

-This also supports the idea, that her COOLDOWN timers are just too low. As mentioned above, she can literally spam abilities at will with very little windows for punishing her with a return trade.

-Regarding "R" ultimate has little room for counter play. It's worse than Leblanc because at least Leblanc has to stick around and land chain + combos then jump out. ZOE just instantly pops in and out.

-The pool ZOE places in the battlefield that causes SLEEPY TIME if you touch it, again can reward her for initially missing the skill shot.

-The damage she's doing is just too much. A lot of people compare her to "old nidalee" with spears chunking people to half health. ZOE is essentially worse, as she nearly one shots and doesn't fall off.

These are some of my observations. And I for one am really looking forward to the next balance patch (eyes ornn)

I'll suggest that her Sleep spell if it misses and goes into an aoe puddle. Turning into a puddle costs her mana
