Twitch changes feel absolutely awful

Hi, I'm a Twitch main with about 420k mastery points on him

I've played several games with Twitch today and I have to say that the changes feel absolutely awful.

Before the changes, how players used his q was central to getting success on Twitch- it was more than a "I'm going to sneak to your ADC, press r, and get fed" tool- it gave him ways to cleverly approach fights, escape, clean up fights through resets, and so much more. The stealth was what gave the champion depth and made him rewarding to learn.

Now, it's exactly that. His q functions pretty much solely as an AS buff and the "I'm going to sneak to your ADC, press r, get fed" button. There's really no other way to use the spell- the detection radius is so massive that it's less than impossible to move past people. Even if it was half as big, the detection radius would be so big that Twitch would lose any form of stealthy mobility outside of lane and the enemy team can simply fan out to look for him.

The fervor changes, the loss of escape on his q, and the incoming influx of assassins make Twitch (and his ~3% playrate) even less desirable, but I don't really mind this. What I'm actually disappointed is the fact that Riot actively KILLED what made a champion unique and only left a hollow, one-dimensional version of his former self.

Have a good day.

Beg to disagree.

His stealth was compensated in numerous ways. First, attackimg him won'g delay the timer, big buff. Secondly, once stealth, he gains 10% ms boost, moderate buff. But how well this works is that he will outspeed anyone pursuing him, allowing him to get out if detection radius and ramp up the speed boost to 30%.

His W now being a persistent AoE slow further aids this in his escape and once you get out of detection radius, it only takes luck or a very dedicated team to find you.

Also, you can juke in bushes while pursued and be hidden and get that sweet 30% speedboost.

His new Q is amazing for roaming with a generous stealth timer; your positioning should be your safety net.
