Hello everyone. I stopped playing after season 6 or 7 and am looking to getting back into League. Seems like there are a ton of changes. Is there place I can go to catch up on all the changes from season 6/7?
Also, I noticed all my runes and rune pages are gone. I saw somewhere you have to do a mission to get reimbursed. Is that mission still around or and I out of luck? Thanks for all the help and advice.

Ionshatter3 votesJungle sucks ass, everyone hates it. Mages are blatantly better than everyone else. ADC are useless unless high ELO or Kaisa/Jhin/Caitlyn. Toplane is a 2v2 unless your jg doesn't show up in which case its a 1v2. Supports either do more damage than the ADC, or are Yummi.
Everyone does too much damage. There is too much cooldown reduction. Ezreal can build tank items and still 1 shot people.
Runes do too much damage, and are all the same thing except Conq. New champions are uninspired lazy designs and every single one is massively overpowered with no nerfs in sight bc "Muh LCS big plays!" More lootboxes, you pay 15 dollars for the privilege to grind tokens to buy yellow chromas of already existing skins. Oh, and good old daddy Tencen- I mean Riot is charging for achievements with Eternals now.
Do yourself a favor; don't come back.
Zardo2 votesADCs are much, much weaker. Assassins are in a pretty good spot right now, about as strong as mages are. Tank toplaners are no longer really a thing. Riot released an assassin support. Support is sleeper OP, but not dominated by mages currently, it's a mix of enchanters and engage supports(you'll see mage supports from time to time, but it's not like it was in s6 or the beginning of s7).
Tower plates got added to SR, you now get extra gold for hitting the tower pre 14 minutes. Scuttle crab now gives as much xp as a standard camp.

runes iunno, what mission was this for runes? never heard of it, or maybe don't remember it cause it was so fleeting. if you bought pages then you should still be able to make up to however many rune pages you bought. you can otherwise buy up to 20 pages as is standard you already know.
Plat HardstuckXD1 votesTou get reimbursed automatically with blue essence for all the old runes you had. Rune pages you'll keep should show how much you had left on rune pages. Watch some streams of the game before playing too lots has changed
