For the voice chat you guys should honestly make it so that way the whole team that u get put with in solo/duo can hear you like its kinda silly to make it so only the people you que with can hear you like that is what discord is for already.
I agree , this is such a wasted feature . It should be for your whole team and you should be able to leave and join it at will incase kids start flaming.
I wouldn't use it, I rather only talk with people I know and not deal with random people in game. Especially since you never know how everyone acts...you think dealing with people in the in-game chat can be toxic? How about dealing with people screaming in your ear about random stuff that does nothing but annoy you or the annoying people who is always blasting music when playing or something. What if you have to be quiet because it's late or something but randomly join a voice chat and people are screaming in it? By the time you realized how much of a rager the other person is, probably to late and you woke up people in your house.
I've never used in-game voice chat in any game I play that has it, like in Overwatch I'll always just ignore it and never join it. Now allowing people the option to invite the random pubs in the voice chat is alright, but don't try to like force everyone in a voice chat when you join a que.
I'd rather not listen to squeaker 8 year olds baby rage like I already have to deal with in every other game, thank you very much.
voice chats will let you communicate with team mates who dont listen to ping not only that but it will help just with regular gameplay and shot calling it would be a much less toxic community like OW
