Most people don't understand this..but here is the answer to the best of my ability. The LAN server is a lot smaller, only a couple hundred thousand players as opposed to over the million NA has. Its a newer server, a younger server. a majority of the players of from Latin America, and have pretty bad ping because the server is in Orlando,Fl. My ping on NA blows dogs for quarters, but on LAN because I live in Florida, is out freaking standing. I play better with better ping, they play worse with worse ping. The lower elo levels of bronze, silver, and early gold are semi atrocious because it is legitimately newer players. The higher elo you go,the more stable the difficulty is. Many of the higher elo players there are NA. A lot of the challengers there are NA players. Between gold and anything higher, you're likely to get your a$$ handed to you by NA challenger players elo boosting LAN accounts for money. the difficulty spike is outrageous beyond a certain point because there is no middle ground. Its the opposite of NA where almost everyone is silver, has multiple accounts, and claim to be smurphs even if they play like they have the downs. So.. the answer to your question is yes and no depending on how you look at it.
