Jinx is an all-around better Cait. Cait has no niche.

Basically, you bring Caitlyn when you need to be extra safe and/or don't have any peel. Carry jungler, top, and mid? Bring Caitlyn. She can safely take down towers and get away from being jumped on. It's also good to bring Caitlyn if you need poke (which, you normally don't), because her poke is fantastic.

Jinx cannot reposition herself over a wall with a low cooldown ability. Cait's traps also remain for a long period of time and let her control the movements of her enemies. Cait's long range ult also provides vision for her allies once she auto-locks. Let alone that her range is longer and passive has some interesting properties like ignoring armor and stacking quicker when auto-ing from bushes. Playstyle is completely different imo.

Jinx can do **everything **Cait can do better.

That statement isn't ever true about any champion comparison. Even awkward champions like Urgot have crazy things like a better armor/mr steroid than Leona and 1200 range point-click harass.

For Cait: her 650 AA's cost 0 mana rather than 20. They start at 650 range rather than 600 as well.

Caitlyn can place proactive traps capable of warning her of approaching threats rather than using reactive traps once a threat reveals itself.

Caitlyn can also leap over walls. Jinx cannot. Jinx has no escape. Barring solid use of her passive, she's pretty immobile.

Better early lane, extra escape, easier to learn.

Thanks for pointing all that out. I just made this post because I've been having tremendous success on Jinx lately and felt like she was amazingly easy compared to playing Cait, so I wanted to see what are the pros and cons of each of the two in comparison.

ahhhhhhh i play both cait and jinx and you know the biggest difference? safety cait is much much much more safe then jinx there both also hyper carries and yes jinx will hit her spike first but once cait is full build she can shred threw anyone wile also being much much safer so yes there very similar but ones not worse then the other
