when to sell items? i mean an item that is for mid game like sheen on riven till ie
would it be too much of waste- -- the sell back ? does anyone do this?

The Nocturne God1 votesThere are a lot of scenarios where selling items might be the key to turning a game around, but I wouldn't make a huge habit out of it because it does put you behind on gold. It is more of if you realize you bought something that isn't helping while there is another item that would help but you are on the losing end of the game so can't just farm for it. It is a risk, because of the gold loss, but sometimes it pays off.

That was from a 1 hour ranked 3s game. Pretty much couldn't end the game until I could figure out the exact build needed to 1v3 since I was being trolled by team mates that refused to end the game.
