Let's talk about league guys!

Hi guys, noob silver player here!

I want to make this discussion about the overall meta currently in league and want to know what you guys think about it! The text below is from what I saw in game, in stream and in video. If you think I made some mistake, just point them out so we can discuss about it!

the Adc : Adc are in a weird place. From my point of view, they are forced to build items so they became early champ instead of mid/late game AKA Lethality. Since some of them doesnt have the kit to use efficiently Lethality, they end up in the non-viable pool of adc. Only times crit adc get viable is when the team can make the game last long enough to get late game or that they are always 4-man bot...

the Support: When you are more affraid of the dmg from the support than from the carry, it is kinda weird. Carry support always existed (I think) but in the current meta, its really present. Mage that can do easy dmg without being in danger are more used than actual support in the low elo, and from what I saw from some stream and video, in high elo as well. Some support feels just useless even if their kit are filled with CC (Hi Leona) because the adc is full of lethality and the support does more dmg...

the Mid: the mid meta is kinda flowing. From long-range poke (Xerath/Ziggs) to assassin (Kat/Leblanc) there is a lot of variety in mid and it's kinda good to see.

the Jungler: Most jungler used are divers or burster (Hecarim/Vi/Lee Sin/Kha Zix/Rengar/Warwick/Elise/Zac). In low elo, they get banned or first pick. From what I saw, using something else than the list above (and some more) isnt easy at all. A lot of jungle-based Champions arent used anymore and it feel kinda weird and sad.

the Top: Top meta is shifting a lot like mid. Some mid can be played top and some top can be played mid. Overall, the top meta is balanced with a great variety of champs.

Masteries: From what I saw in the PBE patch notes, they are getting the dmg bonus from masteries a nerf, that I think, is needed. Will make the game a little less based on early game and might help the bot lane to better scale in the game. Some keystones still feels weird to play with and might need some change ( Fervor, Bond of stone) and some are over-used because they are better than the others (thunderlords and Warlord)

Items: The lethality and %armor pen is in a high position right now and maybe over-used by most ad champion. The itemisation is more focused on dealing a lot of damage early so the game is short and fast. If the game last longer, some champions/build doesnt scale enough to follow the late game and fall off. The itemization for AD champions look more versatile and more flexible than for Ap champions.

Honestly everyone complains about lethality but its made ADCs relevant. Not the typical auto attack spam adc, but more of the caster adcs. I think this is good. We already know lethality is getting nerfed a bit and black cleaver is going back to the bruisers but this is going to leave ADC's in an even worse spot they were pre lethality changes.

ADCs need some sort of revamp, they're too focused on post 35min games and its too cancerous to not have an ADC be relevant till then. I think they should either nerf Lethality as a whole and not the items, and/or buff ADC's who rely to much on auto attacks and spice up their AD ratios in their kits.

I agree with you, most adc needs some tweak to be relevant again. The problem with lethality is the fact that it made the game too fast for most champion to be relevant, so we end up having the same 30 champs played and the other 100 are on the bench waiting for a buff or a rework. (I'm making up numbers but it feels kinda like this)
