#Coming from #4 in LAN, #263 Global Evelynn Master Season 8

Evie’s ONLY Problem Her ONLY problem is early game. I am always concerned for Evie in early game because unfortunately Evie is very weak and vulnerable without her camouflage and ulty for escapes/damage. Because of this, we always avoid fighting early game until Evie gets her 6. Even when our team is begging her for a gank, we refuse to gank and i tell them this on Evie’s behalf “Resist” , “Hold on a little longer!” Patiently waiting to acquire her level 6 powerspike. Additionally, it is difficult for Evie to land a Q early game with her starting movement speed, so fighting early game 1v1 with the enemy junlger is always a stupid idea. Missing Evie’s Q will result in an awful trade and can potentially get her killed! Champions don't like to die, its humiliating and embarrassing (Excluding Karthus). Just don’t freakin fight pre 6 to avoid this problem!

The champions we ban this season due to strong early counter jg:

  • Nidalee
  • Shaco
  • Jax
  • And our worst nemesis, Lee Sin. (Has strong 1v1 potential early game, Insane mobility and Survivability).

#SOLUTIONS, NO REWORKS & CHANGES ARE NECESSARY!

How to help Evie counter her ONLY weakness We power-farm until we hit level 6, then we rush boots of penetration or mobilty and start killing everyone!... averaging 3 kills + assists at 10 minutes immediately.

A Reasonable BUFF for Evie and NOTHING MORE! We were thinking that an attack damage or defence stat buff would be appropriate to help us defend ourselves more effectively in potential early game fights.

Stop spreading lies and malicious comments about champions! If you are casual summoner then you most likely dont have any sort of connection with the champions of league of legends. Moreover, you dont know what you are talking about when you are validating a champion. So do us all a favor and keep your hateful comments to yourself before stupid stuff actually happens.

######OMG Evie is not broken! Assassins are supposed to deal large amounts of burst dmg in a very short period of time! Especially it they are fed!! And thats unfortunate for the enemy team because Evie and I always get fed!!

Well when it comes to enforcing an idea about a champ a person has experience, lots of experience with. You have to use your statistics of your experience on that champ to strengthen the argument. Lots of people have done it before on the boards, nothing new.

this guy wasn't enforcing his idea based on personal experience, he was doing what some people like to do - go to a shit server - troll placements - use certain champions to lose so you don't climb too fast - achieve an impressive win ratio at medium elo placing you at the top of top lists like lolskill and then stop playing.

long story short this guys entire motivation was jacking him self off not doing anything productive or backing a point, his like a vegan that secretly kills cows at night but still tells everyone his vegan and morally superior to them.

Like I'm all for giving your main a nickname, but the argument here is that her name's not evie, which is true. Her name's' evelynn or eve in short.

Again, nicknames aren't a crime and I personally don't find it cringy, weird, or annoying. Its just the boards being the boards. Nothing special.

I think you are pretty cool. Playing Eve requires patience and a lot of planning ahead. I think most the player base thinks you just walk in there and people just die. She’s a tough assassin and jungle to learn but good pay off.

You're asking for buffs on a champion that you have an 84% win rate on over more than a hundred games? Do you need a consistent 100% to be satisfied?

I sorta loved the infinite hate spike machine gun though... She just lack the power to clear waves crashing in towers, and the ability to protect them if needed.

An assassins job is to kill, not to clear waves/push waves. Especially with Evie. Revealing Evie’s position over some petty minion farm is not worth it and a huge mistake! And are you talking about her Q in URF?

And Shaco, Kha'zix, rengar, pre-rework evelynn can do it extremely efficiently. Why aren't we allowed to do this after the rework? Assassin junglers assist early-mid by killing and then taking towers. Currently I believe her damage is extremely disproportional because of the compensation of the stuff she CANNOT do. And I believe it is simply bad design.

Able to do one thing way too good, and throwing other stuff out of the window makes stuff hard to balance.

my one problem with eve is SOMETIMES. in the late late game (6 item item 3100 item 3089 item 3135 item 3041 ) Eve doesn't have to use W to kill which kinda takes away her strongest counterplay point.

You have to keep your squishies boxed in at ALL times or else Eve just rounds the corner and E+R's them for a instakill Even through item 3156 meaning Eve usually forces out a SECOND MR buy or mandatory item 3026 . ITs super frustrating gameplay because theres no heads up involved at all. Just the SURPRISE! ITS GREYSCREEN!

It would be nice if W was a made a bit more mandatory to net kills because atm if you surpass your targets MR via items item 3020 item 3916 Allure stops having impact on damage and becomes purely a utility skill.

#Mid and Late Game

Personally, we still use allure on enemy champions when they dont build MR or are just too squishy even with MR. However, we proc it immediately not to charm/reduce mr% but to slow them. 65% slow. W then Q immediately is the most known combo for this. But i usually throw my Q then W simultaneously slowing them down unexpectedly then going in for the kill with my E+Qx1+R

The best way to counter a fed Evie is by staying close to your fellow allies. Preferably an ally with high CC. If you play ADC then hug your support if a fed Evie is lurking around. Because yea she can kill squishys faster than killing a cannon minion.

As a fellow Evelynn main I agree that she doesn't need any stupid changes right now. She isn't broken.

Also the new leaked evelynn skin better be 1350 RP can't wait for it :)

Evelynn is already extremely strong, she doesn't need any buffs whatsoever right now. And considering how powerful she becomes past level 6, her pre 6 status is supposed to be weak and punishable.

I did check you past seasons. What you have in record doesnt prove that you were an OTP for any champion... based on the number of games played you had with champions

Being qualified for the OTP title based on the amount of games with other champions doesn't mean anything. You have 127 games on Evelynn. I have more. I'm not sure why you keep bringing that up.
