Let's talk about PBE Aurelion Sol

Let's preface this by clearing the obvious, those aren't balancing changes nor adjusting changes, they are clearly here to dumb down the character for popularity.

Now that it has been said, let's talk about the changes

Center of the Universe (Passive)

Damage changed from [20-130] to [16/18/20/22/24/27/30/35/40/45/50/60/70/80/90/100/110/120] AP ratio changed from [18-35% (based on level)] to 25%

_What is this supposed to accomplish? This just nerf Aurelion's push in early combined with the W change, which means, no more LVL 3 gank nor early back, destroying one unique aspect of his playstyle. _

Starsurge (Q)

Cooldown changed from _10 _to 11/10/9/8/7 movement speed increased from 10% to 20% If Aurelion Sol is faster than his Q, the missile will speed up to keep up.

Stop trying to make big Q plays a thing, everybody knows they will never be a thing above silver, there's not ONE Aurelion main that play with big Q except under really rare conditions. Also, the spell does not need less CD.

**Celestial Expansion (W) ** [New] _ Now causes Aurelion Sol's stars to expand, gaining increased damage and rotating at high, but decaying, speed. Upon reactivating or after 3 seconds, the stars retract, granting 40% movement speed, decaying over 1.5s._ Cooldown: 8/6.5/5/3.5/2 Mana Cost changed from [40+22/24/26/28/30 per second] to [70/80/90/100/110]

Alright, that's gonna be a colossal no for me, what's the point? Making Aurelion a bland Burst mage like ALL other bland burst mages? Again a gut to the early push of Aurelion with the CD and lack of constant damage, what does it mean? It doesn't just nerf his unique playstyle, it forces him mid, lock him in an unfavorable matchup against assassins and gap closers he could ignore by roaming before.

Comet of Legend (E) [Removed] Passive movement speed Range increased from 3000/4000/5000/6000/7000 to 5500/6000/6500/7000/7500 Cooldown changed from 60/55/50/45/40 to 80/70/60/50/40 Speed changed from 600 to 600/650/700/750/800

AGAIN, destroy the roaming potential of Sol, great, we can E from further away and people know we are gonna be here earlier, what a twist! the passive MS also helped with some escape, so, way more fun in unfavorable matchups.

All in all, those changes are terrible and Aurelion does not need them, in any shape or form, Aurelion is fine as a MainOnly Champ and doesn't need crazy flashy Yasuo plays, I can speak on behalf of all Aurelion mains and say those are unwelcome, WIP or not.

Aurelion early roam spam and permanent lane priority is bad for the game and the reason he catches nerfs constantly

Hes my current main and favorite champ, these changes physically up set me to the point where If the changes go live I'll probably cry and quit the game.

I know most people in league don't give a shit what other people want but I'm exhausted with all these reworks essentially removing things I'v enjoyed. I have lost so many of my favorite champs and I have sucked it up and moved on but this will be the straw that broke the cammels back.

Have you actually played this iteration? I might be wrong but it sounds like you didn't. I've played 5 games yesterday and the new W feels really good, though it would be nice if it kept going and the MS boost was at the start of the spell. At max rank it has 1.6 cd with 10% cdr if i remember correctly. I didnt get to have a game with full build yet... Q cd buff is really good, it makes a sol less vulnerable. E MS removal feels really bad. If i could get one thing to not go through it would be that. I think his E is really fine as it is right now. The passive nerf is barely noticable if not at all.

Overall i like the changes, it makes aurelion a better laner without compromising too much on his roaming ability. It also gives him more runes and builds versatility. You should give him a try if you can because he his far from terrible.

Riot doesn't understand that players need to adjust to the champion, not the champion to them. They're gutting his originality and making him suffer the same fate as Taliyah. Everything I could live with, but E speed removal and removal of W being a toggle? Yeah, sure, W does more damage and is hella faster, but let that go live, and it will get nerfed a week or so later, and then we're back in our corner. GG Rito, there are champions in need of revising way more than Aurelion.
