Heyo its my first boards post. I was wondering why people still ban 
in the bronze-gold elos (im silver 5). I used to play pretty often in normals but now when i go into ranked hes always banned. He isnt as strong anymore but Ive heard of rumors that hes getting buffed on the pbe. I'm really hoping some people will put responses with thought into them instead of 1-2 sentence answers. (no hate please)
It seems people can hardly be bothered to kepp up to date with changes. Im still seeing a lot of games where WW and Panth are neither banned, nor picked.
And for Yasuo that means, people barely notice that he has become weaker. He is constantly banned they actually never see him being weaker and have no reason to stop banning him.
"Buffed" as in 1 second lower CD on Q at the first rank so one can get max CDR on it with AS sooner, and 5 more MS.
Yasuo is still viable against most mid lane champions; however, I would considered him under-powered in his current state. The problem lies in his base stats. He has no natural MR scaling, and one of the lowest base health in League.
Put him against a long range high damage mage with some CCs such as Viktor, and Yasuo absolutely stands no chance. As well, he fares poorly against other melee champions as well since Wind Wall has no effect on them.
I think people are banning Yasuo so their own teammates can't pick him. It honestly takes more practice than usual to get proficient with his kit, and an inexperienced player will likely just feed given how low Yasuo's defensive stats are.
Tell anyone who bans Yasuo there a fucking idiot. If anyone plays him godly then your team is stupid or they are smurfing...
I honestly think he's in the same boat as Fizz.
Not exactly OP, but a huge pain in the freaking ass.
You should base your bans off of who you dont want to play that particular match. Yas is a good ban because a good yas can carry hard. The problem is that there are a bunch of champs who are good bans for that reason, so just ban champs you dont want to play against that particular match
I don't know what the hell kind of randoms im getting but ive seen a yasuo bot twice and win his lane/ carry the enemy game to victory , one of them the yasuo was even solo bot vs an ezreal and a rammus jungle ( I was support and I was at base buying something and he managed to kill them both at level 3...
