S Token on Supports.

Hello friends,

I've started to main support as of late and I'm trying to learn Sona. I reached mastery 5 fairly quick so I decided to go for 6 and 7 mastery. I've gotten one 6 token by going 2/4/23 but ever since that game, I can't do it again. I know for supports, having a lot of assists is key but how much is ideal? 20 seems like too much for an average game. Are there any Mastery 7 support mains who can point me in the general direction in what I need to do?

I ward constantly, buy pinks every back, upgrade trinkets, clean wards etc but I'm still having no luck. Any help is appreciated.

As a support main with 5 mastery 6's under my belt (I just haven't gotten enough blue for my Thresh Tokens to be redeemed RIP), Its mostly just playing like you normally would, except taking a LOT of kills.

Not like the normal one or two everyonce in a while.

I mean every kill you can get. Just steal that shit. Masteries are relative, meaning if the usual Support Shen KDA is 2/4/20, if you go something like 6/4/16 you'll probably get an S.

I have her at Mastery 7. Tbh its really tricky and hard considering that being support, you sometimes have to be the meatshield and you can't take any cs. The only way I could get S's was limiting my deaths and PLENTY of assists; around 15 - 20+ IS ideal.

But no worries, getting Mast 7 was a breeze considering how easy it is to play her. Just make sure to get an assist just by simply W'ing close to enough an ally so if theres like a fight happening but you can't get close enough to Q or R or whatever to help, just W so that it reaches to whoever. Make it a goal to get lots of assists by spamming your abilitiesss. ( I dont mean literally spam them but ya' know, a W here, or a Q there, or E to get to over here ~ ) Simple as that tbh ):

yeah. you dont need kills for support. just assists. you need to basically average 1 assist per minute then you're good.
