Why Not Ap Gangplank

Back in the good old days ap gp was one of the funnest and not completely unviable things in the game. I under stand u can make lich bane go through his barrels cuz that would just be op (imo) but why not give barrels like a ( 1 AP= .3 scaling) or something. cuz frankly. it was fun. and i still believe Riot likes fun in the far end of my heart. hear my calls rito.
