trash talk

So I'm here vexed right now, wondering why and if I should even play this game any more. I'd like to know how I spent an entire season crawling out of bronze to win more placement games just to be sent to bronze 4 ...that's lower than I was placed last year with winning only 4 of them.. that's one thing making me really not want to play. The other is the overwhelming amount of reporting that goes on. how can you go afk ...feed completely on purpose..troll the game because you didn't get your "pref" lane and still be on playing as if nothing happened later on. But god forbid someone makes a personal or racist attack or remark and you snap back at them ...and then you defending yourself get reported and then log in and you're banned ..it's just too much I feel this "tribunal" is not doing any sort of good job at all. I have no proof other than what ive seen and had to go through in this game. maybe im just outgrowing this game...but with all of this stuff holding ranked mode back...no amount of esport promotion and pumping me full of new champs and skins will prolly be able to keep this game interesting to me much longer..shame because at one point I really did enjoy this game a lot...sometimes I feel I only play because I was dumb enough to spend money on it.. just my thoughts you can say its whiney or what not I don't care just wanted to let the community know my view and if its wrong its wrong ... glhf summoners play on...also a side-note, if any one can tell me 100% truth as to why you go undefeated and then always seem to lose your promos in ff'ing fashion?

Riots standards on reporting are very appropriate in my opinion. The problem is that people just use the system as a way to get revenge instead of using it to actually bring attention to a problem with the player. The official reporting features are explained in these links: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752884-Reporting-a-Player http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Report_function

And the tribunal isn't doing much right now because...well it isn't really doing anything. It's been down for maintenance for a long time - and it hasn't been reviewing cases. What gets people banned right now is just basic computers saying "okay, this person gets a lot of reports, if it continues he gets chat banned". Sadly this can lead to false banning (especially in bronze) since people really don't care about if the ban is legit - they just throw them around at people they don't like.

I totally agree with you man , and I will say by no means am I a saint...bronze changes you ...like war changed teemo haha if u don't fight and stick up for yourself these bronzies will tear you apart lol. Your comment on the computers just doing robotic banning makes total sense , it really does. I would imagine if people were actually checking the game they could tell the difference between someone being toxic like a jerk...or someone who was turned into the hulk by some antagonizing ass. and you know what id do it..i would take a hour or two a day just to spectate and be objective in disciplining...its a good game its us the people who make it bad, the revenge reporting has got me in trouble a few times. I have been reported and if I remember right banned for sticking up for my teammate who was getting double teamed by our players. its so discouraging people cant work together to move up and its even more discouraging seeing people aren't smart enough to realize this..this is just a long overdue rant for me lol. But thanks for shedding light on the tribunal thing .

Keep in mind that even though you won more games last provisonals you started off at a higher base elo. You probably lost a ton of games and tanked your MMR really low this upcoming season and it was a soft MMR reset. It doesnt put you back to the ELO as if you are completely new to ranked. I believe the math was your current MMR lets say 700 + 1200 divided by 2 = 950 MMR rating. So it slightly moved you higher but i believe the base MMR for somebody who ahs never played is 1200. You shouldn't let other players ruin the game for you and i know it sounds hard but try your best. You need to be thinking about imporving every single game instead of winning. The more you focus on improving instead of winning, you will notice yourself winning more games and eventually getting into silver elo. Remember man the most important thing you can do is have fun, because if your not having fun the game starts to become like a chore and you will tilt and stop wanting to play. Good luck on the rift friend and remember... HAVE FUN!
