PLEASE ALLOW MUTING PINGS

I understand that smart pinging is important and allows allies to realize things they didn't notice, such as roaming lanes, ganks incoming or objectives being challenged. However, we have all played with that one person who doesn't understand (or does, and is trolling) how distracting spam pings are. I would rarely use it, but I believe that Riot needs to allow players to mute pings from particular players, or have some sort of "pinger buster" that cracks down on too many ping reports against a person. I have a really hard time focusing when I hear 800 pings from one of my players that doesn't understand it isn't helping me avoid the gank I am getting crushed by... Please Riot address this!
